Audit, repair and takeover of existing sites

A common reason people get in touch: "my web person stopped answering the phone." I take over sites left by other developers — first I run an audit and report, then I fix what's genuinely doing harm: speed, security, Google rankings.

Definition

A technical site audit is a review of its speed, security, SEO and code quality, ending in a report with a list of problems ordered by business impact — with a quote to fix each one.

01 / Who it's for

Who this service actually pays off for

  • companies with a WordPress site that's slowing down, throwing errors or has been hacked
  • companies with no contact with the previous developer — no access, backups or documentation
  • site owners whose site "fell apart" after an update

02 / Scope

What you get

  1. 01regaining control: access, backups, an inventory of plugins and code
  2. 02audit: speed (Core Web Vitals), security, technical SEO, code quality
  3. 03a report in plain language, not developer-speak: what's broken, what it's costing you, what to fix first
  4. 04fixing the agreed scope — with a backup before every change
  5. 05optionally, ongoing care: updates, monitoring, backups, small fixes

03 / When it applies

When it makes sense — and when it doesn't

We always start with an audit when the site "basically works." If the repair cost approaches the cost of a new site — you'll see both quotes side by side and decide for yourself. Sometimes the honest answer is: don't repair it, build it anew.

04 / FAQ

Frequently asked questions about this service

Will you take over a site built by someone else?expand_more
Yes. I need access to the hosting and domain (I'll help recover them if they're still with the previous developer). I start with a backup and an audit, not with changes.
How much does a site audit cost?expand_more
A technical audit with a report and repair quote is in the region of PLN 400–900 net, depending on the size of the site. If you then commission the repair from me, I put the audit cost towards it.
